And Im pleased to say that I was asked to DT again for Sherri and My Bestie's

So here is my first Design Team project back on the team

The Image I have chosen to use is

One of the Fancy Pants Besties....you can get her HERE

I chose these pretty papers from 'Lily of the Valley' they were a freebie in a recent magazine

I added Matt&Layering using a fresh green colour of Coredinations Cardstock

I coloured the Image using my Copic Markers in colours matching those in the backing papers

Hat & Shoes: E44, E43, E41
Skin: E11, E00, E000 Blush: R02
Lips: E07, E04
Dress, Bows & Flowers: RV25, RV21, RV10
Trousers & Flower: B05, B02, B00
Leaves: YG67, YG63, YG61
Mirror: C2, C0

I have chosen to use Crochet Lace which im a bit addicted too and then I made a Rosette using the same Crochet Lace. The Ribbons I chose from my Offcuts Box

The round sentiment stamp is from Pink Gem Designs, I cut this out using a circle die and the used a slightly larger round die and an offcut of blue mirror board for a Matt.

I used a leaf punch and a few offcuts of the fresh green Coredinations cardstock to make the leaves for the floral bunches. The Flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. Not one to waste anything I even used the flower wire that i trimmed from the back of the flowers, I twisted this wire around a paint brush handle to create a spiral which looks like a foliage vine

I do hope you like my card and will join in the fun over at the Challenge Blog

Snow Kisses 'Paperbabe'

Yesterday I made two cards using Paperbabe Digi Stamps but I only Blogged one of them as I wanted to save the other for today

I used 'Mayleedee - Frost Fairy' and she inspired me to make a Wintery Card that could be used for a Winter Birthday or For Christmas

I wanted to create a different kind of background so I laid out some Snowflake Dies on the plate of my ebosser i then laid a piece of special coated Mirror Board face down over them and laid the rubber mat on top I ran them through the machine to emboss the card. I then sanded back the special coating to reveal the silver underneath I really like this effect.

I scored and folded an A4 sheet of Centura Pearl cardstock to make an A5 cardblank I then inked the edged using 'Stormy Sky' Distress Ink. I fixed the embossed panel to the front of the cardblank using Collal All Purpose Glue.

The Image is coloured using Copic Markers

Hair: E31, Y23, Y21
Skin: E11, E00, E000 Blush: R02
Dress: C2, C1, C0, 0
Wings, Ribbon, Wand, Eyes, Snowflake: B45, B41, C0, 0

I trimmed the Image and then Matted onto silver mirror board and then layered using a pretty backing paper. I fixed this topper to the card front at a jaunty angle.

The sentiment stamp is from a set by Joycrafts I stamped it using 'Stormy Skies' distress ink then matt & layered using scraps of cardstock to match the card.

The Snowflakes and the Snowflake Border are all cut using dies from Joycrafts I cut them all using offcuts of matching cardstocks from my bit box then layered them up using Cosmic Shimmer glue I fixed the border under the topper panel and then the layered snowflakes in the corners to balance the card.

I added some bling from my own stash to finish

I really like the way this card worked out

Thank you for visiting today
