Bee Crafty Polymer Stamps - Star Flowers - Wake Wonderful - Warm Gold, Pink & Brown

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
I have been struggling for the last few weeks to get making again after slowing down over the festive period... so this called for some much needed Inkiness and my lovely Bee Crafty Stamps
Today's colour theme is Pink, Brown & Gold I loved playing with my stencils, embossing powders and distress inks and I really hoped that this was the push I needed to get back to crafting - messy inky fun!! so of course it has helped xx
Here is my project for today using the lovely 'Fabulous Flowers -Star Flowers' and 'WORDage - Wake Wonderful'
I trimmed down a piece of white pearlised cardstock to ink onto. I first inked the whole piece using 'Abandoned Coral' distress ink, I used a heat gun to speed up the drying process. I inked around the edges again to bring in more colour. I then used one of Bev's brilliant techniques of laying a stencil over my work, spraying with water and then taking off the excess with tissue this added a lovely textured look into the coral background. I think inked through the stencil using 'Tea Dye' distress ink, lightly in some areas and darker in others. I then inked the edges using 'Tea Dye' and then 'Walnut Stain' distress inks to add some depth to the colours.
Using embossing ink I stamped the 'Star Flowers' into the corners but off the page as I wanted them to peek out a bit from the corners, I also stamped the edges using just the leafy swirl part of the stamp. I tipped gold embossing powder over the inked areas and then tapped off the excess, where the distress ink was a little wet still a dusting of embossing powder clung to it... a happy accident really though as I think it looks really pretty like that. I heated the powder using my White Heat Gun until it was all melted and shiney.
I stamped the 'Wake Wonderful' WORDage stamp onto the centre of the page using brown dye ink. I matted this inked up page onto some brown pearlescent cardstock from my stash and then mounted onto a 7x7 cardblank. I finished the card with some Brown and Gold Ribbons and some Brown Gems... I didnt have any brown so I coloured in a few plain white gems using an Alcohol Marker.

Planning & Decoration - using Bee Crafty Stamps

Today I am sharing with you a few different ideas for using your Bee Crafty Stamps

I have a slight, oh ok I mean huge! Planner Addiction and I have been using various stamps to decorate them up - I also love to upcycle jars, tins, bottles and tubs are not safe in my house and I also sometimes buy jars/boxes of things purely because I want to use them in my Kraft Korner

So here are a few examples of this week's planning and upcyling

Planner Pages, a Project Life Card and a Paperclip Jar all decorated using the following Bee Crafty stamps...

'Decision to Try' (Lg) - Wordage
'Cow Parsley' - Beautanicals
'Dandelion' - Beautanicals
'Holly Swirl' - Yuletide
'Dandies' - Backdrop Borders

These are the pages for next week in my planner (handbag size) - I have stamped across the top and bottom of the pages using the Beautanicals stamps and the Wordage sentiment

This Jar that I now keep my shaped paperclips in - was a sweetie jar from Christmas. I have wrapped a stamped piece of cardstock around the middle, tided ribbon around twice, I stamped and distressed a tag and attached using a glue gun - simple but pretty

This project life card was a little boring with just the quadrile background and coloured edges, so I randomly stamped round the edges using beautanical's stamps and the holly swirl then distressed the edges using distress inks

Thank you for visiting my Blog today - come back soon for more makes

'Being Happy' - Clean & Simple - for Bee Crafty Stamps

Hiya and welcome to my Tuesday post for Bee Crafty Stamps

I am still sticking to part of my New Year's Resolutions of using up my existing stash and offcuts - this card has used a piece of Black Glossy cardstock from my A4 card stah box, a large offcut of white pearlescent cardstock (left from a box I made) and one of my favourite embossing folders

This week I have chosen to use one of favourite sentiment stamps from the Bee Crafty Shop

I love this sentiment and wanted to show it off in a Clean & Simple way I dont do simple often but sometimes I like to push out of my comfort zone

I have chosen a 7x7inch cardblank and turned it on its side so it opens as a tent fold. I trimmed a piece of pearlescent white cardstock to 1/8inch smaller than the cardblank by laying it over and marking with a pencil before trimming with a guilotine. I then lined up a plain circle die to the centre taped in place with some low tack masking tape and run through my die-cutting machine. For texture I then chose a simple design embossing folder, lined up the design in the corners of the die cut panel and run through my machine using the plate order for embossing folders.

I stamped the sentiment onto an offcut of plain white cardstock smaller than the cut and embossed panel. I used a wet glue on the back of the cut&embossed panel just around the die-cut aperture hole and then looking through the hole i lined it up over the centre of the sentiment then pressed down.
To created the fancy circle border I used a fancy circular die cut from black cardstock then lined up the plain circle die to the centre and taped with low tack masking tape, I ran this through my machine and when it was cut there was a tiny border left and the fancy circular pattern. I stuck this to the circle aperture using tacky glue being careful to line it up with the edge that was already cut.

I wrapped a black and white zigzag patterned ribbon around this panel and attached at the back with high tack tape. The bow i made using the offcut (last of the roll so i need to go shopping) which I doubled over at the back and wrapped a small piece around to create a neat bow.

I trimmed a black piece of cardstock to leave a small border around the panel which i fixed to the black cardstock using 1 mm foam tape for a bit of depth.

I added a dazzler embellishment in each corner to finish the card.

I hope you like my card today and will visit the Blog again soon for more projects by the Bee Crafty Team
