Design Team Make - Christmas Wordage 'Believe' - Bee Crafty

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
I had a couple of weeks off due to being ill and half term with my 4 Kiddies taking me away from my Desk for far too long - but today I am back to where I love to be - in my Korner creating pretties
I have really gotten into making my Christmas Cards and most of those have been non-traditional colours - I love to mix it up a bit - this time I chose soft pink, brown and rich gold
The Bee Crafty products I have used are...
And - Distress Inks 'Spun Sugar', 'Tattered Rose' and 'Victorian Velvet' (all stocked on the Bee Crafty Webshop
I chose a 7x7 White Cardblank, and added some Matt & Layering using some pearlescent cardstock from my stash, the gold piece I used an embossing folder to create a swirly background.
With a small piece of Linen Cardstock I inked through the Star Template using Distress Inks 'Spun Sugar', 'Tattered Rose' and 'Victorian Velvet' to create the an ombre effect (lighter in the middle and darkening towards the edges)
I stamped The 'Believe' accross the Star at a jaunty angle using brown ink, the 'Splatter Swirl' border around the edge of the Linen Cardstock and then stamped the 'Snowflakes' into opposite corners using the brown ink and 'Victorian Velvet' distress ink.
I ran my embossing ink over the edges of the Linen Cardstock and dipped these edges into gold embossing powder then heated with my 'Heat Gun' (available from Bee Crafty's Webshop) to melt the powder and create the smooth gold finish. I also used my Embossing Ink Pen to draw a shadow around the 'Believe' word then heat embossed this in Gold too.
I hope you like my card today. I really do like how it turned out.

Bee crafty- Hope - Shaker Card

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
Eeeeks today is a very exciting day for Bee Crafty with our Bev on Hochanda TV
Bev truely is a Natural at this Demonstrating Lark but bless her she was so Nervous about being Live
Join her at 10am, 1pm and 5pm over on Hochanda sky 663
I am so so Excited that some Samples by me are on the show along with Gorgeous Makes by Bev and the Amazing Design Team
Here is one of my Samples from the Show - my 'Hope' Shaker Card
I used the Circle Template emboss the circle into the centre of a sqaure piece of card, but then cut it out to create an aperture. I cut a piece of acetate to fit behind the circle at attached using extra strong double sided tape, to create the window. Then I cut some foam tape into small pieces to stick around the circle on the reverse side leaving no gaps, more foam tape around the outside edge of the reverse of the square piece of card.
I trimmed a piece of bronze pearlescent cardstock to a few mm smaller than the 6x6 scalloped edge card blank that i had chose to use. I had decided on pale hues for this card to show that the stamps can be used for softer makes as well as the artsy makes.
For the main image I used a piece of pearlescent white cardstock and inked from the edge to the centre using 'Antique Linen', 'Tattered Rose' and 'Victorian Velvet' Distress Inks and a small blending tool. Then using 'Pumice Stone' I stamped the 'Dandies' backdrop border along the bottom, and 'Hope' and her Balloon towards the centre so they would fit inside the aperture. I used a water brush to blend out around her feet so she appears to be standing on a little hill.
I fixed the bronze pearlescent square into the centre of the card blank, followed by the stamped image, then tipped in some white seed beads, Glitter and little punched flowers onto the centre of the image being careful not to spill out too far. I then fixed the Aperture Window over the centre to complete the shaker
I really like how this card turned out

Paperbabe Stamps - Arctic Jumper

Hiya and Welcome to my Blog

Today over at Paperbabe Stamps Etsy Store the New Christmas Stamps are now available and I know you will love them as much as I do they are so so lush

I was unable to share with you my make for 'Arctic Jumper' on Thursday as Planned so I am sharing him today instead - This stamp set is so so cute and will be perfect for making many cards for this years Festive Season as he would be great at a complete cardfront so cards could be made very quickly

I have used one of my favourite cardstocks for this make 'Watercolour Card' I love the texture but also that I can use water and distress inks on it with no fear of puckering

I stamped the Holly Leaves and Berries from the set onto a piece of the watercolour card randomly around the edges and towards the centre but no all the way so to prevent wasting Ink as I knew I was to cover the centre later with the topper - I used 'Pine Needles', 'Bundled Sage' & 'Fired Brick' Distress Inks.

To create the topper I stamped the main 'Arctic Jumper' stamp onto another piece of watercolour card and painted him using Distress Inks and a Waterbrush. I stamped Holly Leaves and Berries in the corners. I stamped the 'Winter Hugs' stamp from the set into the Scroll.

I used Gold Pearlescent Cardstock for all the Matts and Layers

I know I will be making lots of cards using this stamp set this Christmas

Thank You so much for Visiting my Blog today and I do hope you will stop by the Paperbabe Stamps Etsy Store today to see the New Stamps and all the other Gorgeous Products that available

Paperbabe Stamps - New Release Introduction - Sparkle Bright

Hiya and welcome to my Blog

Today I am sharing with you my Projects for the Christmas New Release Tomorrow over at Paperbabe Stamps - once you have finished checking out my cards please do head on over to the Paperbabe Stamps Blog to see our Kim's Gorgeous makes and links to the DT Blogs for their Gorgeous makes too

These gorgeous Sparkle Bright - words stamps are so lovely to use is so many different ways I have made 2 cards to show just a couple of the ways you could use them for your Christmas Makes

This first card I first chose a simple backing paper from one of Christmas Paper Packs and teamed it with some lush brown mirror board. Then I chose inks that were similar colours from my  Inkpad collection 'Stormy Sky' and 'Worn Lipstick' distress inkpads and 'London Fog' memento inkpad, I used these to randomly stamp 2 of the Snowflakes and 1 of the Stars from the Stamp Set around the edge of a piece of plain white cardstock. I then stamped the script like 'Merry' from the set into the centre of the card and the 'May Your Days Be' and '& Bright' in sage green whispers inkpad off to the side above and below the 'Merry' - I finished with some red gems.

For this second card I chose to stamp on pearlescent cardstock so I had to chose some of my Permanent Inks to prevent colour rub off or smudging - I used Whispers Archival Inkpads in 'Starry Starry Night' and 'Azure Seas' which I used to stamp the words 'Merry' and 'Christmas' in a repeat pattern accross the cardstock. Once dry I nked over the edges using 'Whisper Blue' Whispers Archival inkpad and then mounted this background onto Swirly Mettalic cardstock to make the card front. I stamped the 'Merry' and 'Christmas' in the script like style onto a plain piece of cardstock trimmed to size using 'Blue' chalky ink. I inked the edges of this piece using 'Faded Jeans' distress ink, matted using an offcut of the swirly mettalic cardstock and attached to the card front using foam tape. I love using blue for christmas cards. I finished the card with some clear star gems

I realy like both of these cards and they were quick and simple to make which is perfect when you need to get a lot of cards made for the festive period

Thank You so much for visiting my Blog today and I do hope you will check out the Paperbabe Stamps Etsy Store tomorrow when the new stamps will be ready to purchase

Bee Crafty - Never Regret - Maple Leaf Flower

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
This week I am sharing with you an elegant make using the 'Wordage - Never Regret - Large' sentiment stamp as the main topper for the card and a handmade Flower made using the 'Beautanicals - Maple Leaf Solid' stamp
I was thinking of what to make and I wanted to put a flower on the side of a sentiment and I suddenly had the idea to make the flower using the Maple Leaf stamp
I stamped the Leaf stamp 6 times using a permanant lilac ink stamp onto pearlescent cardstock, I cut them out and shaped them using a foam mat and a large ball tool, I then fixed them together using a glue gun each one was layered on top on the one below offset to create a rosette flower. I stamped the 'Beautanicals - Branches' large branch onto more pearlescent cardstock using brown permanent ink then cut those out.
I created the cardfront using lots of layers of cardstock which I had grabbed from my offcuts box again - I am a little addicted to using my offcuts and this shows just how pretty they can look. I added some lilac textured card in to tie all the elements together. The light beige cardstock is from a stamp set packaging (too pretty to throw away) which I wrapped brown spotty ribbon round then fixed to the cardfront.
The sentiment topper I made by die-cutting a large circle die from pearlescent cardstock and stamping the sentiment into the centre, inking the edges using the lilac ink again. I fixed this to a circle cut from the lilac textured cardstock then layering this onto a diecut doily circle and fixing to the cardfront centre using foam tape.
I used a glue gun to fix the flower to the right corner above the sentiment and fixed the leafy branches using the glue gun and slipping under the flower on each side. To finish i tied the left over ribbon into a bow which I attached on top of the ribbon using the glue gun again.

Spookylicious Abi Grace - for Bee Crafty

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
Wowser these weeks are flying by so fast and Autumn is in full swing so out came my Halloween Stamps and papers
I had a lot of fun making this card using the Gorgeous 'Spellbound Abi' stamp set, Ive added lots of layers and extra stamps 'Spooklicious' from the Spellbound Abi set, 'Spiderweb' & 'Spooky Scene' from the All Hallows collecion and the BEAUtanicals 'Large Branch
I coloured Spellbound Abi using my fave Copic Markers after stamping her using a pale grey inkpad to give the no lines look which I love.
I stamped the Spooky Scene, Large Branch and Spooylicious onto a gorgeous Halloween Backing Paper from my stash to create the background of my card. I then added a few offcuts from my scrap box which I matted using silver mirror board off cuts (using offcuts for smaller layers is great as you then dont have to cut into new sheets and you save a lot of wasting)
The music score I cut from another seet of Halloween Backing Paper from the same pad as before - I love this paper pad and will be making a few more Halloween makes from it this year
To finish up my card I have used lots of matt & layering, Diecuts, lots of distress inks for edges and I layered the elements using foam tape and jaunty angles

Never Regret - Bee Crafty Stamps

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
Today I'm sharing with you a simple card I made over the weekend - using just one focal stamps and lots of layers

I chose a really pretty floral backing paper for the backdrop of the card, die cut apertures and some peel off's to frame the gorgeous Wordage Stamp - 'Never Regret' - I really love this Sentiment and I use it a lot but I wanted to make this card as simple as possible to show off the stamp. I have used lots of Matt & Layers which is an old technique but works really well in lots of projects. The frame has been raised from the card front using foam tape to give dimension. I also wanted to show how peel off's can be used to tie together the busy background with the simple front panels.

DT Kerrie - Planning with my Bee Crafty Stamps

Happy Monday and welcome to my Post for Bee Crafty
Wowser its been such a busy week with my 4 kiddies starting back at school today, all the uniform sorting and finishing up projects - nice to be back to routine but I miss them all - its so quiet today - but that does mean more time to craft so its all good
I have been using some of my Fave Bee Crafty Stamps in my Purple Planner this week, hense why my post is a bit late as I was finishing up filling in Sunday xx
I stamped them using Chalk Inks, going over some details using my coloured fine liner pens - some across the tops and bottoms of the pages and some as accents on the plan days - I love to add colour and doodles to my planner pages but stamps are by far my favourite planning tool and im always on the look out for more designs and sets to use
I couldnt resist filling these pages up using my 3 fave colours, Teal, Pink & Purple
I hope I have given you a few ideas for using your stamps in other crafts - decorating planners is all the rage across instagram, facebook and blogs Im addicted but I have always loved to plan&list daily

Never Regret - Phoebe - Fashionette - Bee Crafty

Thank You for visiting my Monday Post for BEE CRAFTY
Here we are having a typical British Summer full of rain, rain and more rain lol but means we can craft away guilt free in our warm homes
Today I have slipped back into my comfort zone of colouring gorgeous girl images so I am sharing with you my new make using one of the Gorgeous 'FASHIONettes' her name is PHOEBE and she is so so cute
I have coloured Phoebe using my fave markers I really love colouring up these girls

I created all the layers on my card using all offcuts from my scrapbox - its a mission I have given myself to use up as many as possible before opening anymore packs of beautiful papers, some of my offcuts are quite large and beautiful so would be such a shame for them not to be used - I picked the colours for Phoebe using a really bold floral piece that I had chosen to use

I coloured some of my fabric flowers using the same markers to colour match to the backing paper and to Phoebe's outfit - I used an embossing folder to create the quilted look of the pearlescent cardstock in the background layer. the NEVER REGRET sentiment I picked I think is perfect for Phoebe as she looks like she has had fun shopping for sneaky crafting stash just like me and a treat should make you smile so dont regret it
Thank you so much for visiting my Post today and I do hope you will come back to the Bee Crafty Blog soon for more Gorgeous Makes from the Bee Crafty Design Team

Kerrie DT - Artsy with Inkables & DaVinci Script

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
I have been away with no Internet Access it was a bit of a nightmare to be without but the Family Holiday was Fun
So I am back this week with a Mixed Media Artsy Make using 3 of my Favourite Inkables Templates and the DaVinci Script Stamp
For this project I upcycled the chipboard from the back of an art sketch pad - I love making projects with these as I hate throwing anything away if I can help it
First I painted the board using white chalk paint - then I chose my 3 Inkables Templates and used polyfiller and a scraper through the templates - 'Love' in the middle, the corners with 'Circles' and 'Metalwork Alpha' - once dry I coated the whole board using Gesso. I then applied Teal and Powder Pink chalky paint using small sponges randomly for just a hint of colour, I then sponge dabbed Charcoal Grey chalky paint to add like an aged effect. I also used a small paintbrush to apply some Charcoal Grey paint around the letters of 'Love' to add shadows so the lettering stands out against the background. Using an Archival Ink Pad I randomly stamped the 'DaVinci Script' stamp. To add texture I rubbed a candle over the whole board then heated with a heat tool and sanded it back a bit over the raised parts of the Artsy Project - this brought out some of the white from underneath. I rubbed Silver Guilding Wax over to create a metallic look almost like this project was created from embossed metal. To finish I painted over the whole project with Mod Podge to seal it.
I really like how this project turned out - I'm getting a bit more confident now with Mixed Media which was something I hadnt really done much of before this year as I was always a bit terrified but I have learnt that there is no wrong and its the enjoyment of making the project that is the most important thing being free to let go and try out new ideas and push that comfort zone

You Quotes - Comfort Zone - Paperbabe Stamps

Its time for another Challenge to begin over at Paperbabe Stamps Blog

You can make any project you like for a chance to win amazing prizes if using your own stamps you could win £10 to spend in the Paperbabe Store or if using Paperbabe Stamps you could £20 to spend in the Paperbabe Store

The theme is a 'Picture Inspiration' you can make anything you like based around the picture below...

I was inspired by all the beautiful colours and the way they are all swooshed around the pallete

Here is my Design Team Make for the Challenge...

I have stepped out of my own Comfort Zone this week to create this card, I have been pushing myself to try new things lately and bringing out more of my older art supplies to test them in my crafting

For this project I trimmed a piece of watercolour card to fit the front of my A5 cardblank which i also made using an A4 sheet of pearlescent cardstock that I score and folded in half to create the card blank. For the background I first sprayed the watercoloure card all over using a water spray and then using a soft paintbrush I randomly painted Twinkling h2o  watercolours watered down to create a wash effect, I love how the mica in the paints sparkles. I then sprinkled table salt over the background to create the random speckle, pitted look, I dried the whole background using a heatgun and it was really fun to watch the salt bubbling under the heat. Once dry I brushed off the salt.

I added some extra spoltches and textured look using the 'Spritz & Speckles' clear stamp set, I used a blending mat to paint the h2o's onto and dabbed the stamps into the paints to stamp them onto the background.

I randomly stamped over the edges of the back ground using the 'Knitted Background' and 'A Lot Like Christmas' stamps I had roughly dapped with an Archival inkpad to give the miss-stamped look, the script from the Christmas stamp when stamped randomly looks just like old script and you cant really tell its a christmas stamp

I added a few random Spots & Circles using Blue ink using a few stamps from the 'Doll Face' set

The dandelion looking flowers were made using elements from the 'DesignA Knit' stamp set

Of course because this was out of my Comfort Zone what better sentiment to use but the 'Comfort Zone' stamp from the New 'You Quotes' collection

Thank you for visiting today - I hope you enjoyed seeing my Project and I would love to see all your entries over at the Paperbabe Challenge
