Mayleedee - Jaunty Art - Paperbabe Stamps

Hiya and welcome to my Blog

Today a new Challenge begins with Paperbabe Stamps

This Fortnight we have a 'Picture Inspiration' Challenge

We would love for you to enter all you need to do is create a project using this picture to inspire you, either the shapes, colours or the figure etc head on over to the  'Paperbabe Stamps Blog' to see all the details

I have used 'Mayleedee' clear polymer stamp and 'Fabulous Everything' clear polymer stamp set

I have created a card using similar shapes and patterns from the background

I created my background by sticking rows of washi tapes over pieces of white cardstock which i then cut using a guilotine into sharp triangles, I arranged these and attached them randomly on a 7x7 cardblank - once dry I freehand drew the doodle border around the edges

I stamped 'Mayleedee' using pale grey ink and coloured her using Copic Markers, once coloured I drew over her eyes and eyelashes using a 005 fine marker to make them stand out and then fussy cut her out close to the outline - I fixed her to the card front using 1mm foam tape to created depth

I stamped the word 'Fabulous' using Archival Ink directly onto the washi back ground and coloured in just the word to make it stand out

Thank you for visiting - I hope you like my project and will visit again soon for more makes

Flower Girl Abi - Blooming Beautiful - Bee Crafty

Hiya and welcome to my Design Team Post for Bee Crafty
I have been on a de-clutter mission in my Kraft Korner and I found a whole box of off-cuts from lots of pretty papers and I decided to use them up rather than throw them away - so my project this week is made using 2 pretty off-cuts, Gold Mirror Board and some Paper Flowers from my stash
I chose to use one of my new stamps 'Flower Girl Abi' I then coloured her using Alcohol Markers to match the colours in the papers
This a close up of Abi all coloured

And this is my finished card

I stamped the Sentiment that is part of the 'Flower Girl Abi' stamp set. I finished my card with a pink foam flower and some flat backed pearls from my stash

'Rose Garden Abi' - Happy Birthday/With Love - Bee Crafty

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
Over the weekend I was busy reorganising some of my clear stamp collection into empty CD Cases, this has been very time consuming so I took a break and made my DT Project for this week, I chose to use a (new to my 'Bee Crafty Stash') stamp from the 'Abi Grace & Katie Mai' collection. They are so so Adorable and I'm sure you will love them just as much as I do.
I stamped 'Abi' using light grey ink and coloured her using Alcohol Markers
I have coloured to match the backing papers I chose to use - light pastels - I also coloured matched some distress inks to add stamped and inked edges surrounding her to form a frame as a topper for my project - the stamps are I used are 'Holly Swirl' & 'Cow Parsley' - I love to use the Holly Swirl's edge for crafting all year round as it looks so cute as a foliage detail around card edges etc.
I die cut some flowers and foliage using dies and the offcuts from the Papers I used - The Sentiment's are from th Wordage 'Happy Birthday/With Love' set - I layered these up in opposite corners of the topper which I had attached to the card front using foam tape after tucking a doily in behind it

For the matt's and layer's I have used silver mirror board, for the picture above I took the photo at an angel to show the mirror board without my reflection (which is in the other picture - ooops)

Christmas in June - for Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

Hiya and welcome to my Blog Post for Paperbabe Stamps

Today I am sharing with you a project I have made for the Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #14 - Anything Goes over on the Paperbabe Stamps Blog

I have made a start on Christmas Cards early this year by making at least 2 Christmas cards a week to help prevent getting too pushed for time in December.

For this project I have used 'Dillon Frost Sprite' Character and Sentiments and the Snowflake from 'Mayleedee Frost Fairy' - the snowflakes on the backing paper are stamped using versamark ink and heat embossed using 'True White' embossing powder and a heat gun. Dillon is coloured using Copic Markers and the Snowflakes surrounding him are stamped using 2 shades of distress ink. Snowflake diecuts and flat back gems were used to embellish

Head on over to the Paperbabe Stamps Blog where you will find all the Challenge Info, a project from our lovely Kim and the links you will need to see the Gorgeous Examples from the Paperbabe Design Team

Kerrie DT - Peggy 'Dreams Come True' - Bee Crafty

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
Today I am sharing with you a pretty shabby chic project made with 'Peggy' from the 'Fashionette's Collection' - I've gone back to my fave style of cardmaking this week, Colouring with Alcohol Markers and lots of layers
I stamped 'Peggy' onto super smooth cardstock using a light grey dye inkpad and coloured her using Alcohol Markers - I colour matched to the papers I chose
The colour tones of the paperpad I chose are quite dusty and vintage looking which I really love, I couldnt resist rounding some corners using a corner punch and inking up the edges using inkpads, I also edged the two background layers using a dark brown alcohol marker. The brown layer I used the 'Circles' Inkables Template I brought from Bee Crafty recently, I embossed the cardstock using the template and an embossing machine, I then inked over the whole cardstock to being out the texture of the circles
I fixed the layers to the card front at jaunty angels. I then stamped the larger branch from the Beautanicals 'Branches' set onto textured carstock 4 times and fussy cut them to create the foliage for the Paper Flowers I've used in oposite corners of the card
The sentiment is part of the 'Dreams Come True' stamp. To stamp juat the part I wanted to, I cover the rest of the words using masking tape then inked the stamp, I removed the masking tape and stamped the sentiment onto cardstock
I have used Brown Mirror Board for the Matt&Layering and to finish I added some Glittered Dome Gems which I had coloured using the Dark Brown alcohol marker again

Planning & Decoration - using Bee Crafty Stamps

Today I am sharing with you a few different ideas for using your Bee Crafty Stamps

I have a slight, oh ok I mean huge! Planner Addiction and I have been using various stamps to decorate them up - I also love to upcycle jars, tins, bottles and tubs are not safe in my house and I also sometimes buy jars/boxes of things purely because I want to use them in my Kraft Korner

So here are a few examples of this week's planning and upcyling

Planner Pages, a Project Life Card and a Paperclip Jar all decorated using the following Bee Crafty stamps...

'Decision to Try' (Lg) - Wordage
'Cow Parsley' - Beautanicals
'Dandelion' - Beautanicals
'Holly Swirl' - Yuletide
'Dandies' - Backdrop Borders

These are the pages for next week in my planner (handbag size) - I have stamped across the top and bottom of the pages using the Beautanicals stamps and the Wordage sentiment

This Jar that I now keep my shaped paperclips in - was a sweetie jar from Christmas. I have wrapped a stamped piece of cardstock around the middle, tided ribbon around twice, I stamped and distressed a tag and attached using a glue gun - simple but pretty

This project life card was a little boring with just the quadrile background and coloured edges, so I randomly stamped round the edges using beautanical's stamps and the holly swirl then distressed the edges using distress inks

Thank you for visiting my Blog today - come back soon for more makes
