New Polkadoodles Challenge Begins Today

Happy Friday everyone xxx Today see's the beginning of a New Challenge over at Polkadoodles we would love to see your entries so why not visit the BLOG to see the Challenge and to check out the Projects from the Design Team

I am really loving the Dollie Daydream - Girl Talk CDrom and I loved making this card

I chose to use some of the gorgeous Turquoise and Beige Elements from the CDrom, oh and I had to mix it up with lots of Polka Dots which I absolutely love

I chose all my papers, Embellisments and the Sentiment before I picked the Digi I wanted to use from the CDrom and then I coloured her with co-ordinating Copic Markers

Colours

Hair: E35, E31
Skin: E11, E00, E51
Lips & Blush: R02
Eyes: BG13
T-Shirt & Trainers: BG32, BG13, BG11, C2, C1
Jeans: C8, C6, C4

The 3D Flowers I cut out from a sheet printed from the CDrom and then curled using a Bone-Folder Tool, I then layered them and fixed to the card using Glue Gel. The Rolled Rose was cut from another sheet and then rolled up using a Quilling Tool.

Here are a few close ups

I have also used the Matching Insert from the CDrom and I think it finishes the card perfectly xx

New Polkadoodles Challenge

I am very excited to be a part of the New Polkadoodles Challenge please visit the Polkadoodles Blog HERE to find out more about the Challenge and to see the Brilliant examples by the Talented DT using the new CDrom 'Dollie Daydream Girltalk' x

Such a gorgeous new collection and I have loved being able to create with it.

Here is the Card I made for the Challenge

I have used Papers, Sentiment, Digi and Build-a-Fleur elements all from the CDrom.

The papers and Fleurs all colour co-ordinate perfectly and i had a lot of fun looking around the CDrom before choosing which papers to use - The Fleurs are so easy to cut out and layer up - I used a bone folder to curl the smaller flower for a dimentional effect and finished the flower with a button from my stash - The sentiment I cut using a Nesting Die and then Matt&Layers cut with 2 different sizes from the same set. I added a few black Gems to tie in with the colour theme xx

The Digi is coloured using Copic Markers all colours in the pic below

Here are a few Close-Ups to show you the layers and details

Over at The Stamping Chef a new Anything Goes Challenge begins today and the DT have been making some stunning projects for you all to see so why not visit for a look HERE x

Here is the project I made for the Challenge using 'Tabitha' from The Stamping Chef x

I've coloured her using Copic Markers and then Fussy Cut her as I didn't want any white background x

I've used Papers to colour match with her blue eyes and Jewelery

I chose Mirror Boards in colours to complement her dress and her hair

The fancy Die (Spellbinders) looked like a mirror so I cut that and tucked behind the Tabitha Image

The swirly leafy Die is by Cheery Lynn and the Flowers & Birds are from Joycrafts x

Sentiment Stamp is from the Chandelier Set by Visible Image

I do hope you will join in the Challenge over at The Stamping Chef HERE as there is the chance to win 3 Digi Images of you choice and twice the chance to win if you enter using a The Stamping Chef Image
