Days full of Kraft

I have had a few busy days in my Kraft Korner and I just wanted to share a few of my recent makes with you

This make was from today I was watching Dreamees show on Create&Craft and decided to make a quick ATC while watching - I a little bit addicted to my new Chalky Finish Paints from Decoart so I wanted to try them out with my Dreamees Stamps, I only have 2 packs of stamps so far... the 'Script' stamp and 'Striped Flowers'. I have used the larger of the 2 flowers and the greeting from the set. The script is stamped using the paint.

the ATC I covered using Joint Filler from my Hubby's Shed (hehe) and the painted using 'Relic' Chalky finish paint I the rubbed Decoart Metallic Lustre onto the edges and stamped the script using 'Everlasting' Chalky Finsh Paint. I stamped two flowers onto Pink Pearlescent cardstock and cut them out. I curled the petals using a bone folder and attached together using a large metallic brad. I fixed to the ATC using Pinflair. The owl is a resin flat back embellishment which I painted using 'Innocence' Chalky Finish Paint and then rubbed Metallic lustre onto all the details.

This next make was a quick make using a lovely Digi from The Stamping Chef called 'Shave the World' she such a gorgeous Image and could be used for many different occasions. I decided to keep this card quick simple and this Mask by Ali Reeve is perfect for a subtle background. I inked through the Mask using 'Spun Sugar' Distress Ink. The Digi Image I coloured using Copic Markers. The Sentiment Stamp was a Freebie from 'Get Stamping Magazine issue 1'

The last make is a Gift Card Wallet which I made following a YouTube tutorial the link is below

I have used Kraft Card and Mirror Board from Creata. an offcut of Pearlescent Cardstock in Pink. I used an 8x8 embossing folder from Crafters Companion and a Dotty embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The little circlur Die is from Joycrafts and the little circle stamp is from a sentiment set in my Stash. The Digi Image is from The Stamping Chef - she is called 'Good Morning Meredith' I have coloured her using Copic Markers. I thought this Gift Card Holder would be ideal to give a Starbucks Giftcard as a little thank you gift for a friend - I didnt have one to put in there so i have used my Staples Reward Card xx

I hope you like my projects I had a lot of fun making them and I have a few more busy days ahead full of card orders and cupcake orders - I will catch up with you all again soon with more pics of projects

Back in My Kraft Korner - Fun with Off-Cuts xx

After a mad few weeks i had a few quiet days to recharge but Im back now in my Kraft Korner and during a massive Tidy Up I found the time to make a few cards using some Off-Cuts from my now colour-organised Off-Cuts Basket

There is a separate bag for each colourway - it did take quite a while to sort but so worth it as its making finding pieces to use much easier - lots of tiny pieces have now got to recycle Heaven and im going to stop hoarding tiny pieces from now on lol xxx

Here is the card I made using one of the Gorgeous Digi Images from Polkadoodles Digi Stamp Heaven 'Emma Canning' CDrom

I coloured the Image using Copic Markers

Hair: E35, E31
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E51
Belt: E37, E35
Dress, Shoes & Rose: R24, R22, R20

I used a 6x6 scallop edge card blank which i chose to use turned to the side so that the straight edge fold is at the top of the card.

I chose a floral off-cut and a pastel pink off-cut which was embossed (using rose 3d sticker sheet), waxed (using a candle) and then inked (using 'Anitque Linen' distress ink). The matt&layering of floral paper and the Digi topper is from off-cuts of 'Rolled Gold' mirror board. The Sentiment I also found in my offcut box i matt&layered using the waste from the floral paper and another offcut of pink pearlescent cardstock.

The leaves are cut using a Joycrafts punch using an off-cut of Moss Green mirror board, I curled them using a bone folder.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts i chose dusky pink cherry blossoms and a few tea roses in cream and pink. The gems are from my stash I coloured them with 'Antique Pink' Promarker to colour match the colour scheme of the card xx

Have you had a chance to visit the Polkadoodles Challenge yet??? Its a lovely one the theme is...
Animal Magic and the Prize is brilliant xx WHy not take a look HERE xx

Over on the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog a New Challenge begins fortnightly on Friday please visit the Challenge Blog to see all the Projects by the Amazing Design Team xx

Here is my DT project for The Challenge that begins this week x

The Theme is 'Animal Magic'

I decided for this Challenge to re-visit my first ever CDrom that I brought from Polkadoodles 'Double Sprinkles of Kraft' I love this CDrom and those cute owls are so so adorable I had to use one.

The Papers, Flowers and Sentiment are all from the same CDrom so it was really easy to colour match and co-ordinate them

I coloured 'Whinney the Owl' using a mix of Promarkers and Copic Markers.

The shaped cardblank was made using some large Dies from Go Kreate

I hope you like my card and will visit again soon

I can now share my Exciting NEWS!!!!

I have been having to hold in my exciting news for quite a few weeks now and it's been so so hard to not shout it out cause I'm that excited!!!

A few weeks ago I was asked to join a New Design Team and its a Digi Company eeeeeek! anyone who knows me will know I love Unique Digi Images and I love the ones which make me think out of the Box when I'm making cards, I'm not a Crafter who sticks to one style or one kind of theme I like to get out there and try new things and new ideas and I love to show off this Randomness in any way I can. So of course I was over the moon when I got this oportuntiy to work with 'Ditzie Digi Designs' there isnt just one artist there are 5 each one has their our artistic style and flair so there is always something completely different to get my Brain Gears turning xxx

Their are Amazing Crafters in the Team and I would love for you to visit the Ditzie Digis Design's Blog to get to know them all

If you visit there blog and comment on there annoucement every day untill the Challenge Blog starts
6th of April you will be put in a Prize Draw
Winning you a whopping £10 to spend in at Ditzie Digi Design's Etsy
There will also be spot prize's for others
So make sure you say hi to the new DT ladies

I would like to show you a couple of my makes using Ditzie Digi Design's images

This first one is using Nerdy Geek (by Lisa Horton)

I really like this Image an she can be used in many ways for any occasion x

I have coloured her using my Copic Markers and given her Jeans texture by using a piece of denim material and a blender pen, I coloured the Jeans in the Image first (nothing else yet) then I scribbled the blender onto the denim until it was saturated with the clear alcohol ink and then pressed down over the Jeans, when I lifted this material off it left the fabric pattern onto the coloured Jeans. (the blender takes the colour out) this is one of my favourite Alcohol Marker techniques but it isnt my own idea I was Inspired by Sarah Hurley on one of her promarker shows on Create&Craft xx

For this second card I have used The Mad Hatter (by Kelly Rhodes)

This is a good example of what I was saying earlier completely different Artistic Style - I love this Image a lot and you can have a lot of fun creating with this one

I went all out Mad Hatter Teaparty Style on this one using various papers, dies and embellishments from my stash. Again I have used my Copic Markers to colour the Image which was great fun as so much detail to the character.

I hope you like the cards I have shown you today and that you will visit again soon to see more of my Ditzie Digi Designs makes - come over and join the Facebook Group to join in with the fun and to get to know the team xx
