Today I have been taking part in a Challenge over at Simply Betty Stamps Facebook Fan Group
There was a Freebie Image to use this weekend which was exclusive to Members of the Fan Group
The Challenge has been a lot of Fun
Her name is 'Bat Queen Betty'
I coloured 'Bat Queen Betty' using mainly Copic Markers but also two Orange Promarkers because I do not have enough colours in my Copic collection just yet
Hair: C10, C8, C6, C4 also N5 with Terracota & Spice Promarkers
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Eyes: C3, C2
Lips: E09, E07, E04
Horns: C5, C3, C1
Wings: C10, C8, C6, C4
Tail: C10, C8
Corset: YR04 with Terracota & Spice Promarkers
Skirt: YR04, YR02 with Spice Promarker
Flames: Y27, YR09, Y38
I inked the edges of the topper using Spiced Marmalade & Black Soot distress inks and matted using black mirror board.
I stamped a spiderweb & Spider stamps (from Inkadinkado) repeatedly around and 8x8 card blank. Then built up some layers using black mirror board and dark orange backing paper which I stamped again using the spiderweb & spider stamps. I die cut a curcular die using Burnt Orange Coredinations cardstock which I inked through the die using black soot distress ink I cut this die cut in half and fixed half to opposite corners of the topper.
I created some texture with some cheese cloth and then attached the topper using foam tape. I choose some black Halloween peel off stickers (tree, bats, Boo! & eyes) to tie the card together
I hope you like my card and will visit again soon
Oh dont forget to join the Simply Betty Stamps facebook group because there will be another Challenge with a Freebie Image next week for you all to take part in (the Image is for Group Members only so please ask your friends to join the group and do not share the Image)
