Happy Tuesday which means its my turn to share with you my Design Team make for Bee Crafty Stamps
I sticking with my new years resolution to use up stash I already have and to try new techniques with them
I used 'Fleur & Freddie - Love Birds'
As soon as I see this stamp I thought Fleur & Freddie were flying so for this make ive created a sky as a background
I
stamped the image onto watercolour card using Archival Ink (waterproof)
then I painted over ths image using Art Masking Fluid so I could make
the background look like its behind the figures
Using: Tumbled Glass, Broken China & Stormy Sky - Distress Inks
I sponged them over the watercolour card which I had spritzed with
water - I sprinkled this wet background with Salt (for a speckled rain
effect) and then dried it using a heat gun on the lowest setting
I rubbed away the dry masking fluid to reveal the uncoloured image
I then watercoloured the image using Distress Markers: Walnut Stain, Fired Brick, Faded Jeans, Tattered Rose & Victorian Velvet
I matted the watercoloured picture using dark red cardstock and fixed it to a scalloped card blank. I stamped the 'With Love' WORDage stamp in the corner and used Glossy Accents on the heart balloons to finish the card
Thank you so much for visiting the my Blog today Happy Stamping
