This weeks Creata Show 1pm on Create&Craft is a Christmas Sale so i wanted to show you that even Sky Blue & Orange can be festive
Here is the Project I made
Recipe
Sherri Baldy Digi printed onto Ryman's Bright White Cardstock and coloured with Copics & Promarkers
Creata A4 Hammered Cardstock scored and folded to make an A5 Cardbase
Creata Festive Glittered (12.5x26.5cm) Paper Pads - DS9188-03
Creata Mirror Board from Basics Pack (Orange and Sky Blue)
Creata Organza (Orange)
Creata Foam Pads
Joy Crafts Snowflakes Dies (from Creata)
Joy Crafts Floral Florish Dies (from Creata)
Joy Crafts Snowflakes Stamps (Winter Wishes stamp set) - (from Creata)
Sky Blue Gems from my Stash
I trimmed the checked sheet of Paper to a few mm shorter than the length of the card base and then Matt&Layered with Orange Mirrorboard and attached to front of cardbase
I then trimmed a piece of Rymans Bright White cardstock to 12x17cm I then stamped the snowflakes randomly with Whispers Inkpads (Whisper Blue & Butterscotch) - I Inked the edges in same colours and Matt&Layered with Sky Blue Mirrorboard - I then covered this stamped piece with Orange Organza then fixed to the front of card using Foam Pads
I Coloured the Digi with my Copics & Promakers and trimmed smaller a few mm away from the image - Inked the edges with the Whispers Inks then Matt&Layered with Blue Paper with White Trees from the Festive pad and then again onto Orange Mirror Board I attached this off centre to the Organza covered Layer using Pinflair Glue Gel
I then Die cut 2 Large Snowflakes from Sky Blue Mirrorboard and 2 Small Snowflakes from Orange Mirrorboard - 1 of each of the Floral Flourishes from Hammered Cardstock and 1 of Floral Flourish from the Orange Organza - (to do this you need to lay the organza over the die with a sheet of copier paper over the organza as this helps the organza to stay in place when being cut you then get a perfect cut - i then light paint the edges of the organza with clear nail varnish as it prevents fraying)
Use and embossing tool to shape all the die cut flowers and snowflakes and layer them in opposite corners with Pinflair Glue Gel
The Sentiment was cut from another Sheet of Paper from the Festive Pad - I then Added a few Sky Blue Gems into the centres of the flowers and also in the bottom corners of the Topper and the corner of the card base to finish x
