I trimmed the topper to a few mm around the edge of the Digi and then Inked the edges using 'Port Wine' Whispers Archival Ink and then distressed the edges more using scissors, this topper I amatt&layered using Black Mirror Board and fixed to the card using more foam tape.

Baby Cards using Bebunni from Crafters Companion xx

This week I have made 2 baby boy cards for two of families who I know who have had baby's in the last few weeks

I have used the beautifully cute Bebunni Baby CDrom from Crafters Companion to make them both but they are very different cards

The first card is an A5 Card Blank made using Centura Pearl Card Stock and scored using my Ultimate Pro both from Crafters Companion - with matching insert printed from the Bebunni CDrom

I have used one of the Backing Papers on the CDrom but used the colouriser feature to change the colour to a lovely baby blue - I also used one of the Decoupage sheets from the CDrom and layered this using Collal 3d glue gel. The bow embellishment is from the same decoupage sheet. I have Matt&layered using some Mirror Board from my stash. The Sentiment I typed using my Graphics program. The name I cut out using Coredinations Cardstock from Crafters Companion and my Cricut machine 'Storybook Cartridge' and I used the Shadow Feature to create a Matt again using the Mirror Board

The Second card is a Scalloped Easel Card which I have made using 2 6x6 scalloped Cardblanks from my stash

I have used another of the same Backing Paper & Decoupage sheet from the CDrom. Ive cut a stopper for the easel card using a nesting die from my stash.

I hope you like my cards as much as I liked making them Bebunni is always a joy to work with as he is just too cute - there are 3 different collections in the Bebunni Range, this Baby collection, but also Love and Birthday and they are all just as beautiful. I have all 3 CDroms and most of the Stamps too.

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you will come back soon

My DT Make for The Stamping Chef Challenge

Today begins a new challenge over at The Stamping Chef Challenge BLOG where the theme is Anything Goes - Go over to see the DT projects by the Brilliant Design Team and to Enter you could win 3 Images of your choice from The Stamping Chef SHOP! Go on be Brave enter today, you dont have to use a The Stamping Chef Image but you get more chances to win if you do!!

I have chosen to use a really cool Image by The Stamping Chef for my DT make her name is...

'ElizaDeath' you can get her HERE!

I Created the Background using 'Small Rose' and 'Skull' (from 'Max Rocks') Stamps by Visible Image - I stamped the skulls first onto Watercolour Cardstock and then masked them using Eclipse Tape before Stamping the Rose using Tim Holtz distress ink in Fired Brick, I then used a waterbrush to drag the colour out to give the roses a washed out look - I then removed the masks from the skulls so they were kept white!

I matt&layered this background panel onto Black Mirror Board and fixed to a white cardblank using Collal All Purpose Glue.

The Image I have printed onto Ryman's Bright White Coated Cardstock and coloured using Copic Markers. I then cut out the Image leaving about 1mm border around and fixed to the Card using Pinflair 3D Glue Gel.

I Stamped the 'Small Rose' stamp again 3 more times, this time using Memento Ink onto Ryman's Cardstock and coloured with Copic Marker. I shaped them with a bone folder and stuck two in top right corner and one in bottom left corner using Pinflair. For the leaves I used a punch and more of the Black Mirror Board.

The Sentiment Is a Poem I wrote myself after a conversation with my 'Craft-Sister' Tina Maree. I then typed it using Docrafts Digital Designer and printed in two parts, matt&layered with Black Mirror Board and fixed to the top and bottom of the card using 3d foam pads xx

Also I would like to remind you about The Stamping Chef FORUM! we have several challenges running through the month each with a chance to win 2 Images from The Stamping Chef!

I hope you like my project and will visit again soon xxx

Polkadoodles Challenge!! My DT Post xx

Hiya its Friday and there it's New Polkadoodles Challenge Day!! xxx

Please check out the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog for all the info for this Challenge

Here is the Project I have made for the Challenge x

I made a pretty pot for some of my Fave pens by Upcycling a 'Crisps Tube' and using some fab Papers, Embellishments and a Sentiment from the New 'Dollie Goes East' CDrom from Polkadoodles

I covered the Crisps Tube using a Paper from the CDrom which I trimmed to size and attached using Tacky Glue. I have used Organza ribbon for a pretty edge to the top. the Crisps Tube needed to be recoloured at the top where the lid was removed so i did this using a Silver Ink Pad brushed over to match the silver of the rim. The Sentiment I trimmed and used a corner rounder punch and then same with a nice pink paper.
The Flower Embellishments I cut out 4 times the decided which bits needed to be cut down to make a decoupage the attached to the pot using Glue Gel.

I also wanted to make a pretty tag using some of the left over paper and then chose a pretty Digi, Letter Tiles, Build-a-Fleurs and some other Embellishements also from the CDrom.

I coloured the 'Dollie' Digi Image using some of my Fave Markers. The Tag I made using Kraft Card I have distressed the Edges and then inked using Tim Holtz distress inks 'Spun Sugar, Frayed Burlap'. I then trimmed a piece of the Paper to fit the front which I have inked the edges using Tim Holtz distress Inks 'Spun Sugar, Frayed Burlap'. I die cut some flourishes from the Kraft card and attached these in the corners. I coloured the Butterfly Embellishment using the same colours of markers as 'Dollie's' dress, trimmed the Butterfly and attached to the top of the Tag. The Letter Tiles I took into my graphics program to shrink their size then printed them used Glossy Accents over them and let them dry before cutting them out and attaching to the Tag along the side. I fussy cut the 'Dollie' Image and fixed to the tag. The Rolled Rose Build-a-Fleurs I cut out from the sheet I printed them on and then rolled them up using a Quilling Tool, then attached them to the Tag.

I really enjoyed colouring this 'Dollie' Image and I really love the very fresh look of the Oriental in the 'Dollie Goes East' CDrom so different from any other Oriental Collection I've ever seen xx
