Distressed Edges Challenge Entry for KennyK's Krafty Krew

Ive been in the mood for Challenge Cards today I absolutely love Kenny K Images and today I feel brave enough to enter one into the KennyK's Krafty Krew's Challenge! x

The Challenge Theme is Distressed Edges so I decided to use Distress Inks and then to rough up the edges too using my sharp scissors.

Here is my Card

The Kenny K Image I chose to use is Kitty Katastrophe she is so cool

I have coloured her using Copic Markers and 2 Promarkers (as I dont have all the Copics yet)

Hair: E37, E35, E33, E31
Skin: E51, E11, E00 Blush: R02
Lips: E04, R02
Eyes: YG67 Makeup: C4, Promarker: Ruby
Skirt, Socks, Wristbands, HairTies, Tatoo: N5, Promarkers: Ruby, Antique Pink
Top, Boots, Belt, Choker: C8, C6
BootStraps, Jewellery: C4, C2

I Chose a deep pink backing paper from Creata which I matt&layered with Creata Black Mirror Board, I then cut a smaller piece of same backing paper inked the edges using 'Black Soot' Distress Ink from Tim Holtz and then distressed the edges using a sharp pair of scissors I matt&layered again using Black Mirror Board, this panel I fixed to the Card over a Die-cut shape (which i also distressed the edges of using scissors) with foam tape.

I trimmed the topper to a few mm around the edge of the Digi and then Inked the edges using 'Port Wine' Whispers Archival Ink and then distressed the edges more using scissors, this topper I amatt&layered using Black Mirror Board and fixed to the card using more foam tape.

I die cut 4 leaf swirls using a Joycrafts Die which I attached to the top right and bottom left corners of the card using Ranger Glossy Accents. I chose 3 large Paper Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts using Pinflair Glue Gel.

I finished the card using a Happy Birthday stamp (freebie with a magazine) and some Black Flat Back Pearls from Papermania.

I am also entering this card into the Challenge over at Marker Pop

I hope you like my card and will visit again soon
