Ghetto Rat - Friendship - for Bee Crafty Polymer Stamps

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

Our Bev will be over on Hochanda Tomorrow (Tuesday 19th July) first show at 11am - with the brand new XL Inspired by Banksy Collection have your card details ready cause they are going to Fly!!

These new stamps are massive so will be amazing to use on your larger sizes of Projects - I love them on 7x7 and 8x8 cards

Today I am sharing with you one of my Design Team makes for the shows

The background for this 7x7 Card I created using the 'Distressed Diamonds' stamp from the 'Backdrops - Textures' set. I used Distress Markers in 'Vintage Photo' and 'Stormy Sky' which I coloured directly pen to stamp, alternating colours onto the diamonds I then stamped onto a square of white cardstock. I repeat stamped over the whole piece of cardstock - this pattern  reminded me of a golfing jumper

I then created the main Image topper using 'Ghetto Rat' stamped in Stormy Sky distress ink. I coloured in his necklace using the Vintage Photo distress ink marker from before. I then stamped the edge of the 'Retro Dash and Dots' stamp from the 'Backdrops - Textures' set arpund the edges of the topper using black archival ink. Once dry I inked over the edges using Vintage Photo distress ink

I layered up the card front using Blue Pearlescent cardstock, and a Burlap border. I attached the image topper using Foam Tape. I stamped the 'Friendship' WORDage sentiment onto small offcuts of white cardstock, matted with offcuts of the blue pearlescent cardstock and attached to the card using hot glue from my glue gun

Blue Floral - Fashionette 'Peggy' - for Bee Crafty

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty Blog

Today I would like to share with you a nice simple make to show how you can team up your Bee Crafty Stamps with pretty papers/cardstocks in your own crafty stash

I am a terrible hoarder of all things craft and I even have a massive box full of off-cuts that were either to big or too lush to through away. I always feel I need to use up every little bit. I also took a step back into my own comfort zone of colouring and pretty papers

I also used up the waste from this card by using some of my Die's to create the circular shapes of the image topper and matt aswell as the dark blue flowers

The cardblank is an old one from a set I never finished using from years ago - as i am on a no-spend ban I am making use of all my older stash - after the massive de-clutter I had over the last few weeks i found lots of hidden treasures that I had forgotten about

I stamped the gorgeous 'Peggy' - FASHIONette stamp onto hammered cardstock - which I had pre-cut using a circle die. I coloured her using lots of pencils from my pencils box... I have a random mix of lots of brands but I always use them together as they all blend together quite well, from basic crayola to more expensive brands

The lovely sentiment  'With Love' - WORDage I stamped onto white card and i used off-cuts from the backing paper and matting cardstock to tie it in with the colours used

I hope I may have encouraged you all to dig deep into your boxes of stash to possible use up some of your treasures

Thank You so much for visiting today - come back soon for more makes from me

I coloured up 'Queen of Hearts' Digital Stamp for my Project - I adore her long hair

For my project I printed a page from Alice in Wonderland to use as the backdrop for the Queen of Hearts, I then chose Black Pearlescent card and a pretty floral backing paper for Matt & Layering behind the book page. I used a die-cut border and some paper flowers to finish off my card. I stamped the 'Dreams Take You'-You Quote red rubber stamp onto an off cut of white card, trimmed and backed it with black card and attached to the bottom of the card front using foam tape

I hope you enjoyed your visit to my Blog today and that I may have inspired you to enter the Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

BEAUtanicals 'Oak' - 'Life & Rain' - for Bee Crafty Stamps

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

Over the Weekend I have been getting inky with my Bee Crafty stamps, I have been using some of the New Leaf Sets from the BEAUtanicals Collection

These Leaves are really lovely to stamp and colour in using my Alcohol Markers - I coloured some Leaves and fussy cut out using sharp scissors to use them as embellishments on my projects

I shared a make using these Maple leaves into the Bee Crafty Stamps Facebook Group over the Weekend - dont forget to join that group if  you are not already a member as its a good way to get info about upcoming Hochanda Show and to see gorgeous inspiring makes from the Bee Crafty Team and other Bee Crafty Fans

Items used in this Project from Bee Crafty...

For today's project I stamped and coloured some of the smaller Oak Leaf from the BEAUtanicals Oak stamp set, I coloured them using shades of brown alcohol marker to tie in with the colours I chose to colour 'FASHIONettes - Rosie' - I adore these cute girlies they are so much fun to colour

I picked a 7x7inch Cardblank and added some layers to the front using backing papers and brown cardstock which I distress inked the edges using Frayed Burlap distress ink, I also ran a dark brown alcohol marker along all the edges. I layered them up with a punched edge offcut of the same brown cardstock, I matt & layered the coloured image to create a toppeer and attached it to the card using foam tape to add some dimention

I used a glue gun to fix the leaves to the card, tucking them under the coloured image topper. I stamped the 'WORDage - Life & Rain' sentiment using brown archival ink, matted using an offcut of brown cardstock and fixed to the card front using the glue gun tucking the sentiment slightly under the image topper. I used some grey/blue flat back pearls to finish

be the Best Version of You - for Paperbabe

Hiya and Welcome to my Blog

I was unwell last week so I didnt get to post for the Paperbabe Stamps Challenge so today I am sharing a Midway Challenge Reminder Post instead - The Challenge ends on...July 7th so please do get those entries in soon

The Challenge for Paperbabe Stamps this Fortnight is a Picture Challenge. Where looking at the picture below you would create a project inspired by elements in the picture or based on the colours etc.
I love these picture challenges they are so inspiring!
please visit the Paperbabe Stamps Blog to see all the details of the challenge and how to enter. You dont have to use a Paperbabe Image/Stamp to enter the challenge but the prize is better if you do

I picked out the colours for my Example Project and I coloured my chosen Paperbabe Digital stamp 'Beach Babe Pin-Up' using my Copic Markers - and wowser does it feel amazing to be using those again for the first time in ages

These are the colours in Copic Sketch Markers I chose in similarity to the challenge picture

I really enjoyed colouring this Beautiful image 'Beach Babe Pin-Up (Halter)' in Faint Line. (This Image is from pack of a Digital Pack of various swimming costumes in both faint line and solid line) I love using faint line Digi Images as it gives the no-line effect. I absolutely adore her hair so much detail makes for fun colouring our Amazing Kim at Paperbabe is so talented in drawing all her Digi Images and Rubber Stamps

I have coloured her matching up to the colours in the Challenge Picture but also to the backing paper I had picked out to use as the backdrop for my card - The Sentiment I used is an 'You Quote' red rubber stamp 'Be the Best Version of You' also from Paperbabe Stamps

I attached her to the card at a jaunty angle, added lots of pretty embellishments, die-cuts and paper flowers. I love how the card came together and I feel like it's a 'ME!'-card its been a while since I have been so happy with any thing I have made

Thank You so muchf for visiting my Blog today - come back soo for more projects from me that I hope will inspire you to get your craft on
