'Charming' - Thanks a Latte! - That Craft Place

Hiya and welcome to my Blog 

I would first like to appologise for being away for so long and late with my DT commitments I have been dealing with a few personal issues and couldnt concentrate on crafting or blogging while it was all going on... I now feel a bit more like myself so Im back to post my LATE! Design Team make for That Craft Place Challenge Blog

The Challenge Theme for this time is 'Charming' you need to add a charm somewhere on your project

I have used a lovely Digi from Saturated Canary and lots of yummy crafty goodies from That Craft Place a lovely shop where they also sell their goods via their Facebook Group

Breakfast at Tiffany's - Film Inspired!!

Today a New Challenge has begun over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog and the Theme is 'Film Inspired' I love film&music inspired challenges

Today I am sharing with you my Design Team make I chose 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' 

I picked a Gorgeous Image by Trudie Howard and coloued her with Copic Markers

Co-ordinating Pencil Pot & Planner Page Marker

 Hiya a New Challenge started today over at That Craft Place Blog and the theme this time is 'Anything Goes' what better chance to make a few co-ordinating items for my new Filofax Planning Addiction

I have upcycled a Crisps Tin and made a Page Marker and decorated them using 'Portfolio' papers by 'Pink Paislee' I brought from That Craft Place Shop on Facebook

I love this paper pack and the lovely pages of mini journalling cards that I cut from sheets of the paper - the flowers on the page marker are cut using die's and punches.

I drew round the original filofax page marker onto 'Core'dinations' cardstock twice then glued them back to back to strengthen the marker - I marked the holes and punched using my 'Crop-o-Dile'

The Pen Pot started out as a 'Pringles' pot which I have washed out and covered using 'Core'dinations' cardstock in the same colour as the page marker. I wrapped washi tape around the top and the bottom to match the greys in the papers. The two journal cards I cut from the paper pads and rounded the edges using a corner rounder punch. I used some Paper flowers from my stash to finish the pot.

'Love From Sugar' - That Craft Place Challenge

Today we have a New Challenge starting over at That Craft Place Challege Blog and the theme is 'Love/Valentine'- check it out great prize for the Winner

Naturally I chose 'Love From Sugar' for my project I just love her so much she's so cute - the scrabble sentiment is from That Craft Place Etsy too

Here is my Project but in true OCD Kerrie fashion I was not happy with her hair and it bothered me all night so I got up first thing and altered it a bit

I coloured Sugar using Copic Markers

I hope you have liked seeing both of my cards which are so different to each other - I have such a mixed taste in cardmaking styles and I love images that are unique and fun

I also wanted to say that I havent taken any colouring courses I just love to sit and colour in however way i feel and where I did study Art&Design all the rules in colouring for crafts are pretty much the same just different mediums which makes it more fun - Ive been using alcohol markers for about 2 years now and I really love them but my faves are Copic as they are so yummy to colour with the brush nibs are amazing

I chose to use many shades of Rose for my Design Team make

Turquoise, Beige and Gold for a Christmas Change xx

Hiya and welcome to my Blog

This week we have a New Challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog and the Theme is Anything Goes 

For this Challenge I have used the Card I made for my Mum-in-Law for Christmas I chose Turquoise, Beige and Gold for a change from the Traditional Christmas colours

I chose to use 'Sugar Frosted' as my Image I love her a lot you can get yours HERE

I coloured her using Copic Markers

I have used 'Snow Village' Paper Pad by 'Pink Paislee that I brought recently from 'That Craft Place'

I chose my markers to match these papers and matched it up with some rolled gold mirror board which is one of my faves

The Flourish Die is from Joycrafts which you can also get via 'That Craft Place' just ask them nicely

To finish the card I have used a circular stamp, paper flowers and flat backed pearls from my stash
