Planning with my Bee Crafty Polymer Stamps

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty Stamps

This week I have been getting ahead with my 'Filofax - Planning' and I have decorated this week's pages and my May monthly spread using some of my favourite Bee Crafty polymer stamps

Bee Crafty Products used:

BEAUtanicals - Branches - polymer stamp set
BEAUtanicals - Tall Elder - polymer stamp
WORDage - Dream - polymer stamp
WORDage - Beautiful Things - polymer stamp

I really love to use my non-planner crafty stash in my planners as it helps me to expand on what I have brought for my planning, but also as I love to use my planner for memory keeping as well as planning my day to day stuff

I chose colours of stamping ink to complement the mushroom coloured leather of my current planner (I have a big colletion to choose from each month)

I decided to use the same stamps for my weekly layouts in May as I used for my Monthly spread.

I stamped using versamagic chalky ink's in the following colours

Wheat: for the script stamp
Sage: for the larger branch stamp from the set
Sahara Sand: for the Tall Elder stamp (I just used the top part)
Jumbo Java: for all the Wordage stamps

I stamped them around the edges and over the notes section to leave the main pages blank for filling in the details of my week

I used the same stamps and colours for the my Monthly spread

I really like how the colours work with my chosen planner for May

Beautiful Dream - Fashionette's Peggy - for Bee Crafty Stamps

Hiya and Welcome to my Blog

Phew, it's the Easter Holiday's... I love Holiday's as I get to spend more time with my lovely Kiddies. This Week our eldest Daughter Ashleigh turns 15!!! where does the time go?? I mean only yesterday I was cuddling my Beautiful Baby Girl in my arms and now she is all grown up

Now back to my post lol... I have been playing with my Copic Markers and Distress Inks this weekend I love love love them but for a bit of a change I have been inspired to use green's and blue's by my lovely friend Tina who sent me a gorgeous Tag with those colour's not so long ago

Today's Make is using some of the Gorgeous stamps from Bee Crafty Stamps

Bee Crafty Products used in this project:

Fabulous Floral - Star Flower - polymer stamp

Other Products used:

Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters
Memento Ink - Tuxedo Black
Versafine Ink - Black
Versamark embossing clear ink
Embossing Powder - Clear (with heat tool)
Die's - Florishes
Copic Markers - various colours

Black cardstock
Aqua mirror board
8x8 card blank
paper flowers
flat backed gems

I stamped the Script stamp over a piece of white linen cardstock (that I had trimmed to 1/2cm smaller than an 8x8 cardblank) using Versamark embossing ink, I then tapped some clear embossing powder over and heated with a heat gun to create a raised effect which will then work as a relief when inking over with distress inks, I chose 2 shades of both green and blue inks and blended them over the heat embossed background using foam blending tools.

I then stamped the Clover stamp along the bottom edge of the card using Versafine ink which I gave a quick blast with the heat gun to speed up the drying time

Next I stamped Peggy onto colouring cardstock (a smooth type perfect for alcohol markers) and I coloured her using copic markers using 3 sets of colours which blend well together and nicely match the tones in the background I had created. I then fussy cut her out using a pair of small but sharp scissors. I then fixed her to the background using tacky glue. I also stamped and coloured the Dog and fixed him to the background too. I matted this picture with black cardstock and fixed to the card front using all purpose glue.

I then die cut some flourishes using 3 metal dies and some cardstock I chose the same black from earlier and some aqua mirror board. Next I layered up some paper flowers and some foliage. I stamped, coloured and cut out some of the Star Flowers from the Floral stamp I shaped them using an embossing ball tool and layered them in with the paper flowers. All the flowers are attached using my hot glue gun. I finished off the card with some flat back gems for a touch of Bling.

For the sentiment I used the large Dream Wordage stamp with just the word Beautiful from the Wordage Beautiful Things stamp, which i stamped using black ink. I inked the edges and matted using black card and attached to the cardfront at a jaunty angle using foam tape.

I actually really like this card as I stuck to my favourite style of cardmaking but used colours that are usually very alien to me but I think really do work well together for this project.

Thank You so much for visiting my Blog today I really do appreciate all the visits and comments I get on this blog

MDF Tag - Yuletide Snowflakes - for Bee Crafty

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

Yes!!!! more Christmas Makes! - I adore Christmas and all the sparkle and fun so I always make a start on Christmas makes during the Summer Holidays and then continute all through Autumn and right up until the Big Day!! love love love

Over the Weekend 'Our Bev' was over at Alexandra Palace for the Stamping & Scrapbooking Show with her massive stand full of Bee Crafty Goodies loads of Stamps and Yumminess including... Brand New MDF loads of it which was a Big Hit and sold out!!!!

I so wish I could have gone this year but unfortunately my Hubby was working (darn!! I cant drive so I lucked out)

This Week I have created a Christmassy Tag using one of the Lush MDF Tags! Love!!!!

I had a lot of fun creating this tag with loads of Bee Crafty Lushness!!

The products I used that you can get from the lovely Bee Crafty online shop are...

Bee Crafty - Yuletide Snowflakes - Stamp Set
Bee Crafty - Dots - Inkables Template
Bee Crafty - Inspired by DaVinci Script - Stamp
Colourcraft - Brusho's - sea green, ost blue, ultramarine & turquoise

I also used White Gesso, and Embossing Powders (opaque white, sparkling snow & chunky silver) from my own crafty stash

First I painted over the whole tag using white gesso, once dry I then sprayed the front using a water spritzer and then tapped the Brusho's over the whole tag removing the excess water with kitchen roll. I then dabbed white gesso through the Inkables Template using a dry stencil brush over one corner. I random stamped the Script Stamp using white ink over the opposite corner. Once dry I then stamped the 2 Snowflakes repeatedly over around the edges of the tag using a clear embossing ink, then used the 3 different embossing powders alternately and heating with my Heat Tool

(I have pierced holes in the tops of my Brusho's so i can use them like salt shakers)

I love how the Sparkling Snow embossing Powder looks on the snowflakes

I ran the clear embossing ink over the tag edges and dipped into the chunky silver embossing powder, which once heated made the edges look like metal

I really love how this tag has turned out - I also love how the colours worked - I am a bit obsessed with blue toned christmas makes this year

Kerrie DT - Artsy with Inkables & DaVinci Script

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
I have been away with no Internet Access it was a bit of a nightmare to be without but the Family Holiday was Fun
So I am back this week with a Mixed Media Artsy Make using 3 of my Favourite Inkables Templates and the DaVinci Script Stamp
For this project I upcycled the chipboard from the back of an art sketch pad - I love making projects with these as I hate throwing anything away if I can help it
First I painted the board using white chalk paint - then I chose my 3 Inkables Templates and used polyfiller and a scraper through the templates - 'Love' in the middle, the corners with 'Circles' and 'Metalwork Alpha' - once dry I coated the whole board using Gesso. I then applied Teal and Powder Pink chalky paint using small sponges randomly for just a hint of colour, I then sponge dabbed Charcoal Grey chalky paint to add like an aged effect. I also used a small paintbrush to apply some Charcoal Grey paint around the letters of 'Love' to add shadows so the lettering stands out against the background. Using an Archival Ink Pad I randomly stamped the 'DaVinci Script' stamp. To add texture I rubbed a candle over the whole board then heated with a heat tool and sanded it back a bit over the raised parts of the Artsy Project - this brought out some of the white from underneath. I rubbed Silver Guilding Wax over to create a metallic look almost like this project was created from embossed metal. To finish I painted over the whole project with Mod Podge to seal it.
I really like how this project turned out - I'm getting a bit more confident now with Mixed Media which was something I hadnt really done much of before this year as I was always a bit terrified but I have learnt that there is no wrong and its the enjoyment of making the project that is the most important thing being free to let go and try out new ideas and push that comfort zone
Thank You so much for visiting my Post today and I hope you will visit the Bee Crafty Blog soon for more Amazing Projects by the Gorgeous Design Team
