Paperbabe Challenge - WINGS - Dillon Magic

Hiya and Welcome to my Friday Post for Paperbabe Stamps

Each Fortnight on a Friday we have a Gorgeous Challenge - This week though I am sharing with you a Reminder Post to let you know you still have a week to get those entries in over at the Paperbabe Blog

This Fortnight's challenge Theme is....
'WINGS'

Any Project you like as long as you use Wings of some sort!

Paperbabe Stamps Challenges are open to everyone...
As usual you are welcome to combine with other challenges too.

Please be sure to link your project over on the Paperbabe Blog for a chance to win Paperbabe Stamps Gift worth up to £20*

Here is my Project for the 'Wings' Challenge

I used the Gorgeous 'Dillon Magic' red rubber stamp set
to show that 'Wings' doesn't have to be Girly x x

I stamped Dillon using light grey ink and then coloured him using coloured pencils. I trimmed the coloured image down and removed the left side just for a bit of a change. I stamped one of the 'Spritz & Speckle' clear stamps around the edge and the stamped the Senitment from the 'Dillon Magic' set using black ink. I used lots of layers of cardstock and a cute spooky coffin shape (I pinched this from some doll packaging from one of my Daughters Birthday Pressies)

I added some sparkle to his Wings using a sakura stardust pen and then finished the card with some sparkly flat back gems
We hope you feel inspired and join in our Challenge,
Enjoy a wonderfully creative weekend!

*So, if you use Paperbabe Stamps in your projects you have the chance to win £20 of Paperbabe Stamps, otherwise the prize will be £10.

Spookylicious Abi Grace - for Bee Crafty

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty
Wowser these weeks are flying by so fast and Autumn is in full swing so out came my Halloween Stamps and papers
I had a lot of fun making this card using the Gorgeous 'Spellbound Abi' stamp set, Ive added lots of layers and extra stamps 'Spooklicious' from the Spellbound Abi set, 'Spiderweb' & 'Spooky Scene' from the All Hallows collecion and the BEAUtanicals 'Large Branch
I coloured Spellbound Abi using my fave Copic Markers after stamping her using a pale grey inkpad to give the no lines look which I love.
I stamped the Spooky Scene, Large Branch and Spooylicious onto a gorgeous Halloween Backing Paper from my stash to create the background of my card. I then added a few offcuts from my scrap box which I matted using silver mirror board off cuts (using offcuts for smaller layers is great as you then dont have to cut into new sheets and you save a lot of wasting)
The music score I cut from another seet of Halloween Backing Paper from the same pad as before - I love this paper pad and will be making a few more Halloween makes from it this year
To finish up my card I have used lots of matt & layering, Diecuts, lots of distress inks for edges and I layered the elements using foam tape and jaunty angles
Thank you so much for visiting my Blog today, check out the Bee Crafty Blog for more Gorgeous Makes by the Amazingly Talented Design Team I am always in Awe of the stunning creations they make

'Spook Us!!' - Halloween at Paperbabe

Hiya Happy Spooky Halloween Wishes To You All!

Over at Paperbabe our New Challenge today is 'Spook Us' eeeks so much fun all you need to enter is at least 1 Paperbabe Stamp or a Digi from the Shop you could win an amazing prize! Go on over to visit the Challenge Blog to see the Design Team examples and to see all the details about the Challenge.

For my Design Team example I have used 'Dillon Magic' this gorgeous stamp set is available in both Clear Stamp, Red Rubber and Digi Stamp - he really is so gorgeous

I have coloured him up using Derment Inktense Pencils and some Spectrum Noir Pencils for a change from copics as my poor pencils were feeling a bit neglected - I really enjoyed the change of medium

For something different to a card example I decorated a small paper bag for my eldest son for Trick or Treat tonight - he didnt want a treat bag at first but changed his mind when he saw it (I had ran out of the larger bags I used for his Brother and Sisters)

I chose some Digi Papers which I printed and trimed down to fit the front of the bag, I backed them onto Scratched Silver Board to strength the bag front. I stamped around the edge of the blue striped paper using a Large Watercolour Splat from the 'Watercolour Alphabet' stamps set. I also used this stamp to stamp around the edge of the Image topper.

The sentiment I stamped using the 'Watercolour Alphabet Capitals' stamp set.

To finish the bag I tied a ribbon through a skelleton charm and tied this to the bag handle.

I hope you like my Treat Bag and will visit again soon

Patchwork Pretties - Challenge entry for Creative Knockouts

Today Sassy Studio Designs are sponsoring a Challenge over at Creative Knockouts the challenge theme is 'Patchwork Pretties' so which Sassy Image did I chose? Sally Honey of course for her beautiful Patchwork Dress. I love her she is so spooky but in this card I have softened her with some pretty pastels to show that she isnt just for Halloween. I teamed he up with a lovely sentiment stamp from Visible Image about Friends being a Patchwork - such a lovely sentiment.

I coloured her to match my papers using Copic Markers

Hair: C8, C6, C4
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Eyes & Socks: B24, B21
Eyeshadow: YG63
Lips: R24, R22, R20
Shoes: C6, C4
Dress: YR04, YR02, R22, R20, YR000, B24, B21, C1, YG63, YG61

The papers I used were offcuts from my stash which I pieced together to form a patchwork background. I used a Halloween foam stamp set for the webs and spider, I used a quilted embossing folder for the layer behind the topper and I have used some silver mirror board for the matting. I used a piece of ric-rac ribbon and a silver spider charm in the top corner of the card. I added some dimension and texture with 2 circular die-cuts cut from pearlescent cardstock. A few gems from my stash finished the card nicely.

I hope you like my card and will check out the Challenge over at Creative Knockouts.

Sassy Witch for Sponsor's

Hiya over at Sassy Studio Designs we like to Sponsor Challenge Blogs

Today we are Sponsoring Penny's Challenges their theme is Polka Dots & Pearls

We are also Sponsoring Crabbie Moments of Craft their theme is Anything Goes & Halloween/Spellbound/Fairy Tales

I combined both Challenges into one card, a bit of 'two birds, one stone' theory

I have used 'Sassy Witch'

I coloured her using Copic Markers

Hair & Shoes: C10, C8, C6, C4
Skin: YG667, YG63, YG61

Eyes: C4, C2
Dress & Hat: V09, V06, V01
Broom Handle: E35, E31
Broom Brush: E44, E43, E41

This 'Wicked' Halloween card fits the Halloween Theme perfectly then I tied in the Polka Dots using a stamp over a purple backing paper, Pearls I added to a Die-Cut under the topper.

I mixed it up a bit using Spider and Spiderweb stamps black in and some green distress inks.

The Sentiment Stamp is from Visible Image.

I chose these colours as they arent the traditional Halloween colours and I really like how they look together.

I added a Spider Charm using some jewellery wire.

I hope you like my card and that you will visit again soon

I stamped a spiderweb & Spider stamps (from Inkadinkado) repeatedly around and 8x8 card blank. Then built up some layers using black mirror board and dark orange backing paper which I stamped again using the spiderweb & spider stamps. I die cut a curcular die using Burnt Orange Coredinations cardstock which I inked through the die using black soot distress ink I cut this die cut in half and fixed half to opposite corners of the topper.
