I absolutely love this Image she has got to be one of my favourite The Stamping Chef digi's ever!!
Her name is 'Rockabilly Rebel'
I wanted to share with you my newest make using this gorgeous Image and then a few older makes after that so please do read to the bottom xx
I have had this Image coloured up for a while now but it was easy to match a few papers and cardstocks perfectly with the colours I had used - I coloured her using Copic Markers
Hair: C10, C8, C6, C4
Skin: E11, E00, E51 Blush: R02
Lips: R02, E04
Eyes: YG67, YG63
Bird, Spots, Dress Trim, Bow and Earring: C2, C1, C0
Dress, Bandana: RV34, E04
8 ball: C10
Ive used a Grunge Edge stamp with 'Black Soot' Distress Ink for the edge around the Digi image. All Matt&Layering is with 'Salmon Pink' Mirror Board and Black Coredinations Cardstock.
The Embossed Background I made using Black Coredinations Cardstock and a Dutch Doobadoo Mask which I embossing using my Joy Trouvaile Machine.
The pink spotting backing paper I printed from my Docraft Digital Designer 'Papermania Capsule' Collection CDrom. I have inked the edges using 'Victorian Velvet' Distress Ink.
Ive used a Joycrafts Circular Doilie Die cut from black coredinations cardstock, a catering doily and then a scalloped circle Xcut Die cut from salmon mirror board and embossed using Dots embossing folder from Cuttlebug. I layered these three circles and tucked behind the main Image.
I die cut 3 Joycrafts Blossom Dies using the backing paper and cardstocks again, embossed them from the back using a large ball tool and fixed these to the top corner of the embossed background using pinflair ive put a black pearl button as a centre. I tucked a folded half doily behind this flower.
The sentiment is a Freebie Stamp from 'Get Stamping - Issue 1'
Ive finished the card using a few Black Gems from my stash. (Docrafts 'Forever Friends' Black&Gold collection)
I really had fun making this card xx
Here are a few other makes with 'Rockabilly Rebel'
This one I have used the Precoloured Digi you get with the purchase of the Lineart Digi Image - I have used Joycrafts Dies, Creata Typewriter Stamp set, Silky Cardstock from Creata and Backing Papers from Creata
This is an Oldie from before I was lucky enough to join The Stamping Chef's Design Team. The Image was coloured using Promarkers and I had printed onto Watercolour Cardstock for a textured effect. Ive used Joycrafts Dies, Mirror Board from Creata. Backing Paper made myself using a Free Scull Image from Google which I took into my graphics programe paper maker. The Sentiment was made using Office Wordart and a Font on my laptop. Ive added paper roses and dew drops from my stash (brought from eBay)
I hope you like my cards and the little look at how my style has changed over the year :)
