Vintage Sample for Creata - DT work

 

Ive been designing for Carleys show on Create&Craft.tv 1pm thursday 10th January

while looking through the designs in the glittered/foiled paper pads - i found this lovely image of a bird so decided to team it with the birds and cage dies that are also on the show and go for a vintage feel

below is a close up of the birda cage cut from mirror board and the distressed with a nail file, the bird i cut from creata parchment

close of embellishment imade using creata parchment, creata scented cardstock pastel colours and creata dies (flowers and leafswirl) layered up with a button

this is the completed card ive layered various creata papers onto an 8x8 cardblank, used creata peel off borders round the outside - and used mirror board for matt and layering on the cardblank and topper

I really enjoyd making this card and am really getting into this blogging now im used to it - thank you all for following xxxx

Spring Valentine

 Here is on of my lastest makes as part of my DT work for Carley Duff for her Creata show on Create&Craft.tv every thursday at 1pm

For this card i picked a lovely image by Saturated Canary Digistamps  i thought that this image would suit a valentine theme card  xx

I coloured this image with my Promarkers and Spectrum Noirs - ive chosen the colours that matched my backing papers and mirror boards

I have used Various Dies and papers by Creata to make the embellishments

i hope you all had a brilliant christmas and new year

i had a very busy few weeks full of family and laughter i also had my birthday xxx i sahre my birthday with my wonderful friends Carley Duff and Lynsey Franklin xxx without a gentle push from lynsey i would never have met Carley xxx i am truely blessed to be on Carley's design team and have already got started working on samples for the upcoming show next week Thursday 10th January at 1pm on Create&Craft.tv

so here is sample one for the show

I have made this card using the following creata products from the show

100 sheets pastel mirror board 266251 £16.99
Natural world cut or emboss templates (set of 4) 206339 £19.99
50 sheets holographic board 208026 £8.99 - ON SALE

i have also used other various creata dies and a few bits from my stash

the pink flowers on backing card were inked with Tim Holtz distress ink through the waste card left from cutting out the flower dies xx the image is a precoloured digi stamp xx

i have a few other cards to share and a few more cards to make so will be back soon xxx

i love this stamp i brought from 'that craft place' lisa hortons shop - i coloued this with my spectrum noir pens

this is the finished card sample i made for DT work for Carley Duff (CREATA) xxxx all the other products i used (except sentiment stamp) are Creata products - new glitter&foil cardstock pads, deco foil rub ons, basic colour mirror board and flower forming xx

this one i went with an idea i had while supposed to be sleeping lol - 'i saw three ships go sailing by on christmas day in the morning...' this song kept going round my head when i saw the boat die from transportset so i had to go with it - i used creata classic lined paper,the glitter christmas pads, a creata scallop card and some creata mirror board to put it together xx

this time i used a Saturated Canary stamp from 'that craft place' coloured with spectrum noirs, the creata dies  glitter&foil pads xxx

this one i used a Sarah Kay stamp Ebay i think i got it from - creata dies, classic lined paper, glitter&foil pads and creata handmade glittered rose stickers - some Roses ribbon (sold by the roll at 'that craft place') and a few buttons from my stash xx

this one i made with SWALK precious baby stamp from crafters companion coloured with spectrum noirs - the creata products glitter&foil pads, another handmade backing paper, transport dies, and various embellishments from my stash x

This lovely little girl iscalled 'Amelia' she felt a bit dizzy (very warm in there with lots of people) Amelia got very excited when she realised who Carley was bless her after a cuddle, some sweets, a drink and some colouring she was soon feeling much better xx

I promise to get back to posting pics and blogging daily from now on, been a busy bee with card orders, samples, and the NEC xxx while i have been away i have become a fully fledged JOY TROUVAILLE and FLOWER FORMING demonstrator whilst i have been working with Carley Duff from CREATA

will post tonight some samples and pics from NEC and last few weeks also a few of the card orders i have been completing - got to go for now though as need to get some dinner and get started on this weeks DT samples for createandcraft show CREATA with CarleyDuff xxx
