bling challenge entry

i have been a very busy crafter lately so not had time to blog much but today i was uploading pictures to my facebook page when i realised that this recent card would be perfect for sheila's blog challenge as it has bling
the butterflys are embossed with silver embossing powder, the cupcake has stickles irridescent glitter glue, the latting and layering has mirror board added and also gems are on this card too - the brief from my customer was - pink, cupcakes, butterflys and ribbons - good luck to everone entering sheila's brilliant challenge xxxxxx

CREATA samples continued

I think is my favourite sample so far today - the blues and greys in backing paper made for an unusual colour theme but i think it works quite well - im loving all the different items i have too work with for CREATA this time all so lovely and easy to put together into beautiful cards the backing paper is from a CREATA glitter pad and ive used lots of stickers from the wedding sticker embellishments set xx the stamp is 'morehead - wedding' and i have coloured this with promarkers xx - while making this card i also thought i could enter this into sheila's challenge as its got floral elements involved xx

wow what a week ive had all 4 kiddies went back to school wednesday so we had the early week getting organised and sorting out all the uniforms and bags etc then the first few days were hectic so ive not been able to craft at all though i have managed a few mins here and there to shop for new stash haha ...


today i got a delivery from the lovely Carley Duff from CREATA for me to use to make samples for upcoming shows and a beautiful gift for me which i love love love xx thank you so much Carley for the opportunity of making card samples for you xx


even more chuffed though when after sending thank you email to Carley that i got a message back asking me if i could go to work with her at the NEC Birmingham show in November WOW!!!! of course i said yes xx after checking hubby can have time off to look after the kiddies while im away - so so excited now xx

Of course i could not wait to get started on samples so i made this card using the new 'baby' stickers and a die from a previous CREATA purchase - im loving all the new products and am looking forward to my weekend of crafting - i feel a 'Happy Bunny Dance' moment is needed im so very thankful for the chance to go to NEC and demo alongside my fave C&C girlie xxxxxxx

Mulberrry wood - my challenge entry

they arrived the latest mulberry wood stamps and ive not stopped playing with them since
i have decided this one hould be my entry to sheila's challenge as its a crafters companion prize so i thought this one is very fitting xx
i relly loved colouring this stamped image, on neenah cardstock using promarkers, matt and layering using cordinations, mirror card and papers fromm the MW cdrom - the sntiment is from the set xx

back to cardmaking for now trying to build up my stock for my upcoming stall

Been reading other peoplesblogs thismorning and i must say that i find mine very boring in comparison - but i guess thats due to being a genuine technophobe - oh well i will keep up the blogging when i can and will add this as i learn but to be honest i would rather be in the craftroom making the cards than in the blog writing about them - right back to reallity first the cleaning and then back to my little piece of heaven my craftting zone x x

these are the selection of card samples i have made for CREATA as a member of their craft team they sent me some beautiful 3d paper forming flowers to work with and i had a lot of fun with them - ive used them in different ways and in different themes xx
